This quick and easy tzatziki sauce is made with Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, and dill. It's perfect as a dip or sauce for grilled meats and vegetables.

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt full-fat or non-fat
  • 0.5 cup grated cucumber squeezed to remove excess water
  • 1-2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Grate cucumber, squeeze out excess water.
  2. Combine yogurt, cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and dill in a bowl.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Taste and adjust seasonings.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes.

Notes

For a thicker tzatziki, use full-fat Greek yogurt and chill for a longer period.
