Method
- Bring the salmon to room temperature and preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place salmon skin-side down in a baking dish, brush with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, lemon juice, butter, salt, and pepper in a saucepan; heat until melted and smooth.
- Pour sauce over salmon, cover with foil, and bake for 10–25 minutes. Broil uncovered for 2–3 minutes for caramelization.
- Rest briefly, then serve with extra sauce and garnish as desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add chopped green onions or herbs before serving.
