Method
- Brown ground beef in a large pot, drain, and set aside.
- Melt butter in the same pot, sauté onion, then add garlic.
- Sprinkle flour, stir for 1–2 minutes, then gradually whisk in broth.
- Add potatoes and beef, simmer 15–20 mins until tender.
- Stir in milk and cheese, season, and serve hot with garnish.
Notes
For a creamier texture, use half-and-half instead of milk.
