  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1.5 cups uncooked white rice
Cheese and Seasonings
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
Additional
  • 1 cup water

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook rice according to package instructions.
  3. In a skillet, brown ground beef until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  4. Mix cooked rice, beef, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, onion powder, and water in a bowl.
  5. Transfer mixture to a baking dish, top with shredded cheese, and bake for 20 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
