Chicken and Broccoli

Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 1 lb pounds chicken breast diced
Vegetables
  • 2 cups cups broccoli florets
Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons teaspoons cornstarch
Other
  • 2 tablespoons tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves cloves garlic minced

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add diced chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in broccoli and cook for another 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. Mix soy sauce, honey, and cornstarch; pour into skillet and cook until sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use tamari instead of soy sauce.
