Method
- Slice beef against the grain into 0.5 cm slices, marinate with soy sauce, oil, and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
- Mix sauce ingredients in a bowl; set aside.
- Steam broccoli with water until tender, then set aside.
- Cook beef in hot oil until browned, then add garlic and ginger; stir briefly.
- Add broccoli back to pan, pour in sauce, cook until thickened, then serve hot.
Notes
For best results, slice beef thinly against the grain and do not overcook the broccoli.
