  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Broth
  • 6 cups chicken broth
Vegetables
  • 2 carrots carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 onion onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves garlic cloves, minced
Spices & Herbs
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Noodles
  • 2 cups egg noodles
Garnish
  • as needed Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Place chicken, broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, and parsley into the Crockpot.
  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  3. Shred chicken, add egg noodles, and cook for 20-30 minutes on high.
  4. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
