Ingredients
  

Broth
  • 4 cups dashi or vegetable broth
  • 3 tablespoons white miso paste
  • 14 oz silken tofu, cubed
  • 2 green onions green onions, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 oz dried wakame seaweed
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)

Method
 

  1. Soak wakame in cold water for 5 minutes, then drain.
  2. Heat broth to just below boiling, then reduce heat to medium-low.
  3. Whisk miso with warm broth until smooth, then add to the pot.
  4. Add tofu and wakame, simmer for 2-3 minutes, then garnish with green onions.

Notes

Use high-quality miso for the best flavor.
