Ingredients
  

Bagel Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • Everything bagel seasoning optional, for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add Greek yogurt and honey (if using) to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Gently fold in blueberries.
  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
  6. Roll each portion into a rope and connect the ends to form a bagel shape.
  7. Place bagels on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Optional: Brush with egg wash or milk and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a sweeter bagel, add a bit more honey or maple syrup. You can also experiment with different types of protein powder.
