Hobo Casserole (Ground Beef Recipe)

Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 pound lb ground beef
Vegetables
  • 1 cup cup diced mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
Potatoes
  • 3 medium pcs potatoes sliced
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon tsp salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon tsp black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add vegetables and seasonings to the beef, cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Layer sliced potatoes in a baking dish, top with beef mixture.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes until potatoes are tender.

Notes

You can add cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of baking for extra flavor.
