Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 lb sausage (italian or chicken)
Vegetables
  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
Sauce & Seasonings
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
Garnish
  • fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. Peel and cube the sweet potatoes.
  2. Cook sausage in a skillet with olive oil for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Add sweet potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Mix honey, garlic, soy sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper; pour over sausage and sweet potatoes.
  5. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes until sweet potatoes are tender. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
