Method
- Pat beef dry; optionally, sear in hot oil for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Place beef in slow cooker, sprinkle gravy and au jus mixes, add water around edges.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours until meat shreds easily; remove and shred beef, return to liquid.
- Cook noodles separately, drain, then serve beef over noodles.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, stir in cornstarch mixture during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
