Meat and Pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups elbow pasta, uncooked
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)

Method
 

  1. Cook ground beef in a large pot until browned; drain excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper; simmer.
  4. Add pasta, cover, and cook 15-18 minutes until tender.
  5. Remove from heat; top with cheese if desired and serve.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or chopped herbs.
