Bagel Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour or bread flour
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt non-fat or low-fat
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Optional Toppings
  • everything bagel seasoning to taste
  • sesame seeds to taste
  • poppy seeds to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine flour, Greek yogurt, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Mix until a slightly sticky dough forms.
  4. Knead on a floured surface until smooth.
  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces.
  6. Roll each piece into a rope and shape into a bagel, pinching the ends to seal.
  7. Place bagels on the baking sheet.
  8. Optional: Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with toppings.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before slicing and enjoying.

Notes

For a crispier bagel, boil the bagels in water for 1 minute before baking.
